Thank you all! @Lost: I too ended up feeling quite lost, but I believe that is precisely the author's intention. After all, the whole story is so senseless and twisted... @Flo: I won't deny that the first book was the one that excited me the most as well, but I think the subsequent ones are equally important. Of course, compared to that wonder which is Il Grande Quaderno, the others seem more ordinary... @Larrok: for me, this is one of the most beautiful books I read last year.
