A foundational book. A must-read. Just the way Vonnegut tackles the theme of war, with such shamelessness, such sarcasm, such irony, and such poetry, is enough to make this Slaughterhouse-Five a fundamental work about World War II. Vonnegut's style drives me crazy :D... That's life.
