I don't understand one thing: is the fact that you don't appreciate metal such a grave disgrace? :D It’s not like I have to learn to like it; if I don't like it, I just don't like it.

Well, I'll tell you: I don't see the three mentioned (Zep, Sabbath, and Purple) as either metal or rock, but simply as examples, more or less different, of hard rock, which would better be called hard blues. The Zeppelins, especially in the beginning, were the epitome of hard blues, also drawing inspiration from Cream. The Purple carried on the discourse of the Zeppelins while modifying it quite a bit, whereas the Sabbath slowed it down. Then, I’ll tell you, I’m not a metalhead nor do I know much about metal bands, in fact, maybe it's exactly for the reason you mentioned that I’ve never been too interested in metal: I see it as cold.

No, wait, maybe we didn't understand each other. I'm just saying that it's not true that NOBODY listens to Led Zeppelin anymore, etc., etc. Maybe FEW do, or at least a smaller part compared to the majority of today's kids... that's true. But there are young people who listen to great music, rest assured.

!Well done! You hit the mark. Today, twenty-year-old rockers don't exist; no one listens to Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin anymore (they only know "Stairway to Heaven" and "Whole Lotta Love" because it was the theme song for Top of the Pops). But I really don't think so. :D
