The final scene gave me quite a hard time falling asleep... The film conveyed the same terrible sensations as Pasolini's "Salò," with the added weight that it was all, unfortunately, true...

A great album. The rhythm section works perfectly, while the electric intro of the title track could be mistaken for something by Iron Maiden. As for the covers: I find Hypgnosis's one for "Lovedrive" magnificent!

Almost a film without images with unforgettable pieces. The Who didn't adapt to trends: they anticipated them!

I had it on cassette, but my brother lost it :-/... Honestly, I wouldn’t know which Milan was better: the nostalgic one you describe, with factories and cabarets, but with the Duomo at risk of sinking and an identity that was fading, or today’s Milan, with wild shopping but also a rediscovery that the metropolis has a history. Certainly, in the provinces (where I live), many eighteen-year-olds still remember the songs of Nanni Svampa, perhaps without knowing that he sang them on this record (I have a few more springs than them).

I still haven't managed to see this film... rather, have you ever heard the cover of the theme "Quiet Drops" (I think that's what it's called, but I'm going from memory) from the soundtrack, done by Morte Macabre?

With that guitar sound and that drum (which seems recorded through a wall)... absolutely blood-curdling!!! With today’s studios, no one makes such dirty and visceral albums anymore.

Overrated, or: how foolish all those who have loved this work are. Really, a bit presumptuous as a review.

The album is truly a milestone, even though the review seems to suggest there’s only the guitar. Speaking of lyrics: are you sure you listened to them carefully?
Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso Garofano Rosso

I saw the movie!!! They aired it a few months ago on a private network... it stars Miguel Bosé!!! I realized it was "Garofano Rosso" because I recognized the music. Well, the film was so beautiful that I can't even remember the plot anymore. The soundtrack was effective, but as an album... without the voice of Francesco di Giacomo, something feels missing (the same goes for "...Di Terra").
