To tell the truth, certain reinterpretations/modernizations contained here sound to me today less stimulating and more outdated than the originals.

This is a really great mystery!!! Excellent choice (even though I didn't understand the Italian cover).
Mia Martini La Musica Che Mi Gira Intorno

I don't know this collection, and I really like some songs by Mia Martini from the 70s ("Padre Davvero" is a punch to the stomach). She is someone who has always paid too much: prison and shame for a joint (which is why Mimì Bertè disappeared to make way for Mia), slander (as you mentioned), bad company. A sad story.

Well, it was neither one nor the other, just a thought.

It's comment no. 39 that seems written like a page from Burroughs, or at least it reminded me a lot of it (you know, every now and then I check the "latest comments" page, and this sparked some memories).

I like the review and I really enjoy this album (I also really like "Space Oddity"... now I feel like listening to "The Cignet Comitee"). Bowie is frighteningly nervous, while Ronson truly makes a difference!

I don’t know the author in question, but I still enjoyed the review. On this site, no one is a professional, and most reviews are more a way of saying "Hey, look, this also exists," a way to signal and propose what matters to us. Or it’s also a way to kick off a discussion about a work we love. So, a five, then, for the first literary review. As for me, I’m not sure I would be able to produce more than summaries of works... and it would still be a way to tell other users: "Have you ever tried this book? I like it, let me know what you think." If I had the skills to do serious criticism, I certainly wouldn’t be writing here. In essence: I think we can afford anything!
