A touching review. The initial memory makes me feel almost intrusive. Despite the gramelot, "Italian Song" is my favorite.

You talked about the first movie for which I ever shed tears (when I grew up, that is). I won't forget the anguish of Hepburn's final run for as long as I live. The little girl, anyway, also gives a great acting performance.
Lucio Fulci ...E Tu Vivrai Nel Terrore! L'Aldilà

A beautiful description of a lovely waking nightmare. At times incoherent, debatable, but still a nightmare as it should be. The elegance of certain scenes is undeniable (for example, when Liz finds Emil in the middle of the street, or the stunning finale). Very much loved abroad, especially in Sweden: listen, if you don't believe it, to "Seven Doors Hotel" by Europe and the remake of the main theme of the soundtrack by Morte Macabre.

Oh my gosh, Zzot, and sorry if we like it. Relatively speaking: I find it a bit disjointed, and besides, Moraz has nothing to envy from Wakeman (for me it might be the other way around), but White compared to Bruford...

So it's really them: of course I remember them! When they released this album, everyone was talking about it and praising it to the skies... go figure why they disappeared at the speed of light. Great recovery (of the album, which became album of the week on the legendary "Linea Rock" on Radio Peter Flowers, I have too vague memories to give it a rating).
Ian and Sylvia So Much For Dreaming

Sure that Sylvia on this cover looks like an Afghan hound.
John Milius Big Wednesday - Un Mercoledì da Leoni (1978)

A wonderful analysis of a beautiful film. I was lucky enough to see it for the first time projected on a wall in my classroom, perhaps a bit "ethereal" but in large format. The underwater shots intoxicated me to the point that for about a month a marble cat like me dreamed of going to California to surf. Upon reflection, however, it was the stunning story of friendship, disillusionment, and the inability to let go that makes this film extremely alive.
