So far I've only watched the first season; I'll wait to see if and when the second will be aired on free TV, but I still really enjoy the book series (and unlike others, I don’t find that it drastically decreases in quality as it goes on), even if unfortunately I've now reached the end of the penultimate book and who knows when another one will come out... :/ In any case, even in the books, the battle scenes are always quite marginal, with a few exceptions, which I consider more of a strength than a weakness.
