Come on, when someone tries to be original! And then it's a thrash album, it fits as a review! Anyway, at this point I have to give it a listen since everyone is saying good things about it.

Speaking of comic adaptations... I've read somewhere that in Japan they made a manga of Mein Kampf (!), does anyone know if that's true?

I really liked the film; it was interesting for once to see the war from the opposite barricade and not from the usual Allied/Russian point of view, which by now I’d say is saturated to the unbelievable... who knows if we'll ever see a film about German soldiers (although in fact this does happen to some extent in "Der Untergang," another great film!). The side of the loser has much more charm in my opinion! And I liked this much more than "Flags of Our Fathers."

@500 vanesse: I'm glad to hear that! In some ways, it always deals with the theme of revenge; weren't you the one who reviewed the trilogy? (By the way, I had only seen Oldboy, and thanks to you, I've decided to check out the other two!)

@s4doll: if you like trashy splatter films, I recommend Peter Jackson's movies (the one from The Lord of the Rings), as he started off his career making gore-filled B-movies! In particular, Bad Taste, Splatter – Flesh Eater, and Meet the Feebles.

@giorgioladisa: it must be a miracle done by Padre Pio!

Well, thank you all for the comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the "movie" :)
Now you are all my friends, and anyone who is my friend is also a friend of Don Franco!
