My Bloody Valentine Loveless

I didn't appreciate it at first, but this record is a MASTERPIECE, a hypnotic album that invites you to lose yourself in an ocean of cacophonic melody.

I believe that for now, Sonic Youth and Wilco are enough for me, without having to deal with this hybrid, also because at the moment I'm rediscovering the classic garage and hardcore (next goal: feedtime!) and I’ll have plenty to enjoy for a while :)

Uff, it's been a while since I've been keeping up with the metal scene properly. Last year, though, it doesn't seem to me like there were any groundbreaking releases, am I wrong?

What about the collections? Of course, when you do something, you never do it halfway... :P 5 for your dedication to the cause, you must really adore these guys!

I haven't listened to the album yet, but in the meantime, I must say that I find the cover stunning :) I'm glad that even today there are still those who take care of the artwork, something that, unfortunately, is becoming less important given the decline of physical media, but for me has always been a very significant and appreciated component, often guiding my choice of what to listen to.
Red Hot Chili Peppers By The Way
Voto:
For me, the Red Hot have never produced a masterpiece, but up to and including Californication, they are a very respectable band, which has the merit of appealing even to people who usually don't care about rock at all (and in that sense, I like them more, for example, than Blur and U2).
Anathema A Natural Disaster

I don’t know why, but I never decide to listen to them, even though they’re liked by practically everyone, from hipsters to metalheads...
Nujabes Modal Soul

Anyway, I can confirm that Japan is definitely worth a visit :)

Hi, who is that crazy person who never thought of mixing Jazz/Soul sound with a younger Hip Pop base? No one. --> Well, to be honest, hadn’t A Tribe Called Quest and Miles Davis already blended hip hop with jazz in his last album? And I’m not so convinced that there’s less willingness to experiment here in the West, on the contrary... That said, the proposal seems interesting especially because right now I’m exploring "alternative" hip hop.
Soko I'll Kill Her
Voto:
A friend of mine had a crush on her, but I was never particularly interested, even though I always had to listen to her when we drove together... Anyway, I believe that if it weren't for her sexy accent singing but some average guy instead, not many people would care... it's the effect of "hotism," I guess ^^
