LA RECENSIONE

Sure guys, afternoons are the strangest part of the day: so early yet so late to do everything. They are that part of the day that, despite everything, you can still enjoy magnificently: lie down on the couch and... think: without predicting what and who, just like that; just leave space for our mind and analyze the first thing that comes to mind, or the one imposed by the society we live in.

Let's try to think: but deep down, is this the life model we want to impose on ourselves? How will life be, I don't know, in Asia? Have you ever asked yourself?

I had to find some answers, after all, curiosity had taken me greatly, plus I couldn't escape the charm of Asian culture. Wandering here and there, I came across this strange Japanese producer; strange indeed: who is that crazy person who never had the idea of mixing Jazz/Soul sound with a younger Hip Pop base? No one.

An alternative to the mainstream music we Westerners have been accustomed to, almost completely losing that desire to create, to search for new melodies, leading to the birth of new music genres that, perhaps over time, would also establish themselves.

I will be brief in describing one of Nujabes' works: "Without a doubt the most successful album among all: the mix of these completely different genres has given birth to an album that can be listened to with pleasure. At times more relaxing, sweet, sensual, in others the presence of instrumental Hip pop prevails more, giving the track that more "American" touch (if it can be defined that way) but never banal or predictable."

If you are economically well, I would recommend visiting Japan at least once. Otherwise, absolutely get this album and try to spare some time from your daily life to listen to it, perhaps on a beautiful afternoon.
