A film teetering on the edge of unbearable if it weren't for Streep and Hanks. "Compitino" is the right word, additionally burdened by a slowness (which is a distinctive trait of Spielberg's aesthetics) that, more than ever in this case, weighs down the narrative. Zero rhythm, tedious shots. I almost fell asleep in the theater. What a bore.

Vassiliu. The fullback from the last team I played for in the first category. Diligent, reliable. He is remembered for his long mane that he meticulously took care of... every now and then I wonder how he managed to deal with the baldness that must have hit him, considering the obvious precursors marked by a rather high and thinning hairline. Appreciable upon closer inspection. Fortunately, he didn’t sing in the shower, and in French no less.
