U2 The Best of 1990-2000

Well-argued and linear presentation. For me, I want to exaggerate, after Zooropa they had nothing more to say. And it’s not that there was much before, but they were worth listening to. It must be said that they didn't get stuck on a single formula, and that honors them. Much less the rubbish produced with the last 5, 6 (I’ve lost count) albums, truly embarrassing.

Everything but the Girl Eden

Yes, very good. I was there at the time but I was a medallaro and likewise a collector of two of spades. So I appreciated TT's beautiful voice later with Massive Attack. Today I might take a step back and also listen to what was done with EBTG. And you've inspired me to do it.

JOHN McENROE JOHN McENROE 100%

Well. Mc is my absolute sports idol of all time, for the reasons you've mentioned and more. You already know what I think about the doped Nadal and the other current tennis players. Things that have been said and repeated, today it's a different sport, the evolution of materials that (almost) prevents approaching the net. I just want to say one thing to @[Carlos]. I don’t mind Djoker, especially for his competitive ferocity. However, I struggle to consider a true number one a player who doesn't know what to do in the half court behind the net. It's really hard to watch. He is the emblem of specialization pushed at the expense of touch sensitivity. At least Nadal has shown that he has a certain kind of finesse, not like Roger's but definitely above average, for goodness' sake.

I agree with Cosmic, it was more of an editorial. What matters is that it is a very dignified piece of writing despite the personal content.

Yeah, too bad about the ending not living up to the rest. I'm going to listen to this stuff now.

It's a shame I never spent much time with Frank. Perhaps it's time to start, although it probably isn't my cup of tea.
