As often happens, I must agree with every single line. And regarding Diego Armando, I would like to underline how he was an impeccable leader on the field, in contrast to what unfortunately happened in life outside of it. Often ruthlessly fouled, he never displayed an excessive reaction, always ready to rally the team and take responsibility. A driving force and an example, but only on the field; outside, he did whatever the hell he wanted. It's a pity because we could have enjoyed his unparalleled levels for a few more years. You’re right. No one has won a World Cup alone (just look at Argentina's lineup from '86 to realize that), and another would have won it while playing at 50% of his capabilities. Even Pelé couldn't achieve that because he had extremely strong teams at his disposal. Incommensurable, for me the greatest athlete of all time, a true artist. And even the unfairness of the hand goal against England rises to the sublime gesture of a genius, a manifestation of cunning and instantaneous skill.
