I wouldn't omit Stoner Witch, in my opinion, it's among the best along with Senile Animal and Bullhead. Then all the others mentioned are great... the only one I haven't listened to is Lysol. I agree on Ozma; in fact, I couldn't digest it. The last two, Nude with Boots and this one, are minor works from a nonetheless brilliant band. And then the creative vein isn't eternal; nothing and no one escapes the laws of natural decline, not even these sacred monsters.

Indeed, you’ve captured them well; the Melvins are so elusive that the references are multiple (and you’ve rightly identified them) yet at the same time not comparable to any of these. They themselves become an inimitable stylistic hallmark that cannot be traced back to citationism. I think you did well, and don’t take it the wrong way, welcome to deb. Oh ... I like them a lot. And I’m neither fascist nor pseudo-medallaro. This isn't their best work, but it's still a Melvins album, so it's above average. An excessively enthusiastic (and long, as already mentioned) but well-prepared and heartfelt review. You've done them justice. Here you go.
