I wouldn't omit Stoner Witch, in my opinion, it's among the best along with Senile Animal and Bullhead. Then all the others mentioned are great... the only one I haven't listened to is Lysol. I agree on Ozma; in fact, I couldn't digest it. The last two, Nude with Boots and this one, are minor works from a nonetheless brilliant band. And then the creative vein isn't eternal; nothing and no one escapes the laws of natural decline, not even these sacred monsters.

Indeed, you’ve captured them well; the Melvins are so elusive that the references are multiple (and you’ve rightly identified them) yet at the same time not comparable to any of these.
