A typical example of kicking a corpse, not even a pack of vultures and hyenas around a carcass would show such little respect for those remains, pure necrophilia.

I’m so caught up that I almost missed this gem of yours. And then the necklace "Urania" takes me straight back to my father, who never missed an issue back in the day, and now I too appreciate good science fiction. I don’t know if Vinge’s work can be considered among the best in this field, but there are plenty of interesting ideas and reflections to be found. Truly brilliant!!!

Here you see ... I knew it was definitely valid. With a title like that, my little guy is already positively disposed since he himself is a huge and proud producer of mephitic gases.
Turk, Bartle ... as soon as this piece of crap PC arrives, I’ll start producing too, be patient. Soon I’ll give you a reason to bitterly regret your reckless choice and I’ll break some testicles properly too ;D
Hello, you troglodytes, you’re nothing else!!!

Matilda is wonderful, even the film that my little one hasn’t seen yet. We’ve read the book of course. And Dahl is at the top of our preferences, a genius. The only one I didn’t like is his most famous work (thanks to the cinema): "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and also the sequel "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator."
Tell me a bit about this doktorproktorprumpepulver instead. Just the title intrigues me quite a bit ... but can I find it in the bookstore and in Italian???

@Turk, thanks for the advice. Although unsolicited, I suspect it will be greatly appreciated. As for Dahl, I've read all of his works by now and was on the lookout for some good new material.
Regarding the saga, my little one isn’t really into it yet. Maybe because when the phenomenon exploded, he was still just over a fetus (he's 8 years old), and I see that not many from his generation have become passionate about it. I’ve also never taken him to see any of the episodes in theaters, and the ones he’s caught glimpses of on TV haven’t sparked much interest. For now, he seems allergic to the genre as well...
Your favorite Dahl? For me, it’s The BFG.

In fact, in my comment 48 I believe I may have overstated a bit with my nose in the air. There are much worse afflictions than Erripotter, and I don’t think I would tear my clothes at the request to read it from my little one. It would be far more serious if, for example, he were a frequent visitor to this site! The point is that I perceive the fantasy genre as the equivalent of what Dream Theater is for sound. Prolix, sterile, self-referential, masturbatory, and deadly boring. But this is my problem ;D

Here… if I really have to get my son into reading (and I do), I would far prefer to introduce him to other authors (Dahl, Sait Exupery, Nostlinger above all) rather than feed him this serialized and shamelessly consumerist substitute. If the depth of a reading, even for "just" kids, has to be this bleak, it’s almost better to stick with the Nintendo DS. A sheepish saga!!!
