Peter Gabriel So
Voto:
The only track that has never really struck me as fitting is the closing one (This Is The Picture); otherwise, the album is among the best of the 80s (at least from what I know, of course). It's different from IV, except for some limited tendencies towards African music, and the 2 hits are absolutely worthy of the best Gabriel.
Peter Gabriel Peter Gabriel (Car)
Voto:
The debut solo album deserves a solid 4/4.5 in my opinion. Solsbury Hill and Here Comes The Flood are the strong points, while other tracks are still a bit raw. Joe Cavalli's nonsense about Yes was better left unread.
Peter Gabriel Passion: Music for the Last Temptation of Christ
Voto:
I wonder if other author-musicians would have been able to create such a masterpiece... I’ve never seen the film, though.
Peter Gabriel Ovo
Voto:
Just listening to Low Light or The Time Of The Turning is enough to give the album a solid 5. It's amazing how he managed to experiment with different genres, from ethno-rock to lyrical, with Celtic music combined with electronics... this album is truly a Rock Opera.
Peter Gabriel Big Blue Ball
Voto:
Ah, welcome to DeBaser, since this is the first review.
Peter Gabriel Big Blue Ball
Voto:
Well done, great review. From what I understand, Big Blue Ball should be more or less a project like OVO, with the theme of nature always in the foreground. After all, Peter had also developed the ideas and themes there by collaborating with other prominent artists. However, I don't expect anything spectacular from this work, especially if there are pieces like Burn You Up...

Damn it, Arnold, calm down. I’ve never reviewed anything and I don’t think I will, but don’t exaggerate.

@Arnold, you must have repeated the story about the copied solo at least 10 times. Aren't you tired of it?
Marillion Clutching At Straws
Voto:
I finally managed to listen to Clutching At Straws - this is also a great album, although I really don't like Incommunicado. For me, the best of the Fish era remains Misplaced Childhood.
We Are Scientists After Hours
Voto:
Uh... it will be better next time, I'm sure of it.
