Placebo Loud Like Love
Voto:
a fucking band, for me maybe their second album was slightly salvageable. maybe...
Marlene Kuntz Catartica
Voto:
Good debut, although it hasn't aged very well upon re-listening today, but I listened to it a lot back then. At least until the release of the next beautiful album, Il Vile. Then they died, but that's another story...
Turbonegro Ass Cobra
Voto:
They have degenerated badly into the ridiculous and the kitschy in the last years of their existence (do they still exist?? Who knows!), but who cares, this album really kicked ass.
Megadeth Super Collider
Voto:
Never been able to stand Mustaine. With that voice that sounds like a nutria having its testicles squeezed, ugh! Anyway, another one who doesn't want to retire, and he should have done so at least 15 years ago (the same could be said for his first band... for those who understand).
Marlene Kuntz Nella tua luce
Voto:
I partially agree with what you wrote at the beginning of your review, but it's a shame that the MK are now just tired and limp 45-year-olds, with Godano trying so hard to appear intellectual and "literary" that he writes the lyrics with a thesaurus in hand. What a pity. I still believe that an album like "Il Vile" was one of the best Italian works of the '90s, a time when we couldn't complain about good bands in Italy [Disciplinatha, Uzeda, Lula, Fluxus...]
The Divine Comedy Bang Goes The Knighthood

I remember these by name, but I've never listened to anything. Am I wrong, or were they one of those many bands from the so-called "Britpop" scene? My mind associates them there... Let me listen to something!
Laura Pausini & Kylie Minogue Limpido
Voto:
Pausini and Minogue...how to choose between a crap and a piss...and end up with the two organic matters mixed together. WOW!! P.S. I would still give a shot to Kylie though...forgive the male instinct...
Franz Ferdinand Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action
Voto:
I detest them. I was unlucky enough to have to endure them live at the Independent Days in Bologna, about a decade ago, between Mark Lanegan and Sonic Youth, along with quite a bit of garbage like them, the Libertines, and some other bullshit bands that were on every damn cover of "British" magazines in 2003 and today, thank God, ended up where they belong in history (oblivion)... The beer stands at that festival will still thank me today, considering that during their set and that of the other "little bands," I must have poured hundreds of euros into their cash registers...
Boysetsfire While A Nation Sleeps
Voto:
I was actually confused... the ones I remembered were the almost namesakes BoyHitsCar.
The Bee Gees Bee Gees' 1st
Voto:
This disc is not bad... in fact, it's quite nice! The problem is that I shouldn't think of the Bee Gees while listening to it, ahahahahahah... otherwise, I see in front of my eyes the three cheesy guys with hairy chests dressed in sequins dancing to the rhythm of Stayin' Alive and it ruins my party.... Odessa is great too, huh!
