Mogwai Mr. Beast
Voto:
Really beautiful receipts. The Mogwai, pardon me, apart from the stunning debut, Young Team, bore me quite a bit. I haven't listened to this one, I know it's among the most "heavy" they've done... maybe I'll give it a try. But Rock Action and Happy Songs... zzzzzzzzz... pardon.
Tokyo Shoegazer Crystallize
Voto:
A band that labels itself as Shoegazer (when shoegazing was at its peak, its creators didn’t even know they were gazing at their shoes; even the press used terms like noise pop, ethereal wave, and similar nonsense..) is pointless and pathetic.

Another great album. Not at the level of "I Can Hear The Heart..."_Madonna how much I love that album...
Beck One Foot in the Grave
Voto:
Nice little disc. I must be crazy, but the one by Beck that I prefer above all is that chaotic mess of Stereopathetic Soulmanure. Hell yeah!! In fact, I might just give it another listen.

Maximum respect to Brunone. I prefer the Ronin, though...respect.
The Who My Generation
Voto:
The Who that I prefer... already an album with real substance. My favorite of all remains that pop masterpiece, The Who Sell Out, from '67.

I saw them live back in '95 or '94, in some shabby dive somewhere in France, I was full of acid up to my eyes and I don’t know if they were as out of this world and cartoonish as I remember or if it was just me being too "2000 light years from home"... ahahah. I've never listened to one of their albums, and I'm surprised to find out they're still active. Maybe it's the right time to catch up! Great review as usual.

Nice little disc. Even if it's a bit soporific at times...
