Gianluca Grignani La Fabbrica Di Plastica
Voto:
And to think that years ago they made me listen to it, convinced they could catch me off guard. It’s the usual crappy Grignani (the lowercase is intentional), his usual tear-jerking songs for the Ambra Angiolini generation; producing it with 90s "alternative rock" atmospheres doesn’t change the essence of the album. It’s not enough to disguise the usual Grignani tunes with a bit of delay and some watered-down feedback to make a psychedelic rock album, ahahah... Worse than "L'aiuola," there at least he is (tragically) himself.

Soviet Soviet?? New Wave? mmm...aside from the name, which calls to mind stuff like Liquid Liquid, I've listened to a bit and they don't attract me. Same old "Indie" stuff that sounds so cool. Bye

As a kid in the '80s, I went crazy for this stuff, Numan, Human League, Depeche Mode, etc. I should still have the big vinyl somewhere.

I may come off as a snob, but... I've always thought it sucked. Even the first one. I don't have a good relationship with Vasco in general...

I found it utterly boring. It felt like someone had planted a stick of dynamite right on my scrotum. It’s not enough to play a riff and keep it sustained for half an hour to win me over.

I still need to listen to this. "Geek The Girl" is one of my all-time favorite albums.

Re-commenting after 6 years. Never changed my mind. Terrifying album. Those who lived next to me in my own flat in Rome during the university year '95/'96 are probably still cursing me because of this record...

I hate AOR, so... anyway, good review.
