What a great little record this is. Yes, they seem to be moderately voracious consumers of magic potions, and it's paying off. One of the (not many) records released in this dying 2014 that I prefer. P.S. I don’t really hear the early Flaming Lips here… who were much more messy and above all silly! P.S. great review as always.

I have "Sun And Shade" and it's not bad at all. Vaguely lysergic Folk-Rock. Except for one track which is an unacknowledged cover of 'hallogallo' by Neu! I might give that one a listen later.
