Nice album and just a little more as far as I'm concerned. He did his best with the beautiful "Transformer" and "Berlin" in my opinion. Well... there’s nothing more to add about the Velvet :-)

For me, they could have stopped after "Ride The Lightning." I listened to this out of curiosity, given the immense fame that comes with it as the number one piece of bullshit. A hodgepodge of riffs with no beginning or end, accompanied by a cacophony of background noise.

Well. It's not like I really want to listen to him. It's been ages since they've let me down. I practically saw them born in the early '90s in the UK. The first work, "Experience," was a real game changer. The original sound of the early illegal English parties perfectly channeled into 11 tracks of jungle/breakbeat/techno and diluted into a """"song"""" format. I wore it out back then. The same goes for the second one. "The Fat of the Land" didn't impress me as much. After that abomination "Always Outnumbered..." I abandoned them. Even the previous one, from what I listened to, didn't say anything to me... I don't know.

The first two albums are spectacular. Then the abyss... I'm not sure if I'll listen to this...

Next purchase. Their "Lion Devours The Sun" has enchanted me. "How Shadows Chase The Balance" is another beautiful album. We'll be listening...
Peter Gabriel Peter Gabriel IV

Great album. Even though the predecessor remains unbeaten for my tastes. Ps. I've never loved Genesis (except for a couple of albums) but Gabriel as a solo artist has captivated me.
