I miss this. I bought 'Diatribes' back then, but I lost it a few years later and honestly I have a vague memory of it. I still own that unforgettable blast to the face of "Scum" on vinyl, with Lee Dorrian scraping his throat. That record is huge.

Immense record. There were several cultured and complete bands... besides Can, I think of people like Faust, Annexus Quam, Amon Duul II (as much as, ahem, multi-ethnic), Gam, Gunter Shickert, Ash Ra Tempel, etc...
