Well, as far as I'm concerned, it's not a masterpiece, but I consider it the last valid chapter of Smith & co. It has great tracks (High, A Letter To Elise, and End above all) _ 3.5 for the album.. After that, it will be nothing.

4 for the review and 4 for the album, which is great, even if they've done better, but tracks like Roadbull and Shevil have their damn reason!!

A cancer for Italy, it’s almost harder to get rid of this pseudo-pedophile jerk than Berlusconi at times. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhh go fuck yourself!

Not the best but still a good album, except for the Medley which annoys me. Not on the level of Revolver and the White Album. Rating 3.5. Closer to 4...

Excellent debut, even though it’s almost entirely a different band compared to the lineup from the second album onward. The best is yet to come with the incredible They Were Wrong So We Drowned and Drum's Not Dead. This is perhaps their most "palatable" work.

At the end of the '80s, when I was a little brat of 13/14 years old, I hated all the Hair Metal craziness (Guns included) so much that I listened to Duran Duran, Human League, Depeche Mode (great), etc. Luckily, as I grew up, I discovered that the '80s hadn't been so stingy in music once I dug a little deeper (Husker Du, Minutemen, Squirrel Bait, Big Black, Cure, etc.). Anyway, to each their own.

I didn't listen to it and I don't even want to. Live Through This didn't blow me away either; on the contrary, quite the opposite. Their first work, Pretty on the Inside, was nice though.

Great review. Band and album completely unknown to me.

This work escapes me. They never quite grabbed me, except for one album, This Is Hardcore, which I really liked at the time.

I know it was already derivative in itself as a genre, but in those events—because they are determined events and specific epochs that create a certain type of sound—it all sounded fresh. Today, paradoxically, Blues For The Red Sun sounds fresher to me than any Stoner/Post Stoner album and the various nonsense from any contemporary band!
