John Frusciante Niandra LaDes and Usually Just A T-shirt
Voto:
Frusciante's only great masterpiece. Rating 4.5. Beautiful, although perhaps slightly inferior to the subsequent "Smile From The Streets You Hold," which is perhaps even more delirious than this one. Then he will clean himself up... and anonymous pop albums will come.

The review is also good. Linkin Park don't deserve any consideration. Says someone who has always thought they suck. First albums included. The ruin of Rock n' Roll. Seeing everything that should be genuinely raw, dripping with sweat and shit, so polished and crafted, processed through pro-tools, sterilized and seasoned with melodies that wouldn't scare even the Backstreet Boys, really hurt me back in the boom days of these. They weren't useless...but detrimental to the health of Rn'R and to the perception one has of it!

You piqued my curiosity. I will listen..

I've never been too fond of these guys, but I really liked this one, I don't know why.
Porcupine Tree Fear Of A Blank Planet
Voto:
I liked something about them in the beginning; for example, I have a positive memory of Up The Downstairs. Then they took a direction that became too "progressively" sterile for my taste, but I think they remain a band to be respected.
Metallica Master Of Puppets

I'm sorry, I've never heard of them.

I listened to Smash in 1994. Then I stopped following them. Good review.
Pavement Slanted & Enchanted

What can I say about the album... a masterpiece. Even though I slightly prefer the subsequent "Crookedrain Crookedrain."
