Dante Alighieri Comedìa (Divina Commedia)

@TheWalrus9: I don't think I said that you discredited this literary work (you say that), just as I don't believe I did either. Given that "discredit" means "to speak ill of, to tarnish in order to disqualify," I would really like to know how I allegedly discredited "The Divine Comedy" and how and who else would have done it. Thank you in advance.

Everything can be reviewed, even this text of indescribable genius. The problem is that this review would be sufficient if it were talking about any book, but considering that it’s discussing the most important work of literature of all time, it appears in all its microscopic smallness: it tells us nothing more than what an average high school junior already knows and even dares to use a swear word (“sputtanato” when and by whom, then? Words in freedom, mah). It could have been left out.

A good review for an album rightly described as unfortunate: it deserved more, that's for sure. It’s not the best work of Kylie, who has done better both in the mainstream and indie scenes, but it is still a good CD and I agree with the reviewer’s opinions. Stunning cover.

Hello, welcome to DeBaser! The review is frankly not very good: remember that you are writing for an audience that knows contemporary music and therefore doesn't need translations or many explanations (unless, of course, you're introducing a truly obscure artist). The track-by-track description is a method that is not very appreciated, and the ratings for the songs even less so: in fact, if you could write the same things but in a more conversational way, that would be better. ;) As for the album, I believe it is one of Madonna's best, and it's my absolute favorite; I acknowledge that other albums like "Ray of Light," "Confessions on a Dance Floor," or other '80s records may be musically superior, but this album truly impressed me at the time and even now I listen to it with great pleasure without a single song boring me, and I believe this is a great indicator of quality.

@friscio76: I know the series of CDs this belongs to, and they are all of so-so quality, so I can easily imagine that 3 is a pretty fair rating (especially since I like Vivaldi). As you say, commenting on the performance is the most common approach: rightly so, the material is indescribable, we all know that Vivaldi, Bach, Chopin, etc. were geniuses, pointless to repeat it, and let's just talk directly about whether something was played well or badly, but still, a little comment would have been appreciated. But it wasn't a criticism, eh, don't worry! ;)

So you’re considering the performance instead of the work? It’s an approach to classical music, and indeed the most commonly used by critics and magazines, but a little description of the music wouldn’t hurt.

A very good review and a work that deserves a 5, being one of the absolute masterpieces of serial animation, Japanese and otherwise, based on a comic that is itself extraordinary and even better than its animated counterpart.

Sorry, mistake: "I can't give more than 3 since 75% of it talks about the anime and not the soundtrack." I must have mistakenly pasted it, my apologies.
