Billie Eilish Happier Than Ever
Voto:
As @[Flame] says, the review is so enthusiastic that it risks sounding like an advertisement. Nevertheless, and although I'm not a huge fan of hers, I also believe that Billie Eilish is a highly significant artist in today's landscape, and I fully acknowledge her tremendous ability to handle her success; from this perspective, I really appreciated the parallel with Britney Spears, a person transformed into a character at the expense of her humanity. I propose another parallel, albeit less relevant: in her album "Sweetener," Ariana Grande had the audacity to sing the song "Successful"... well, it didn't work out for her since within two years her sales/streaming, as well as the star ratings on reviews, and her importance and image have plummeted. Billie Eilish had the tact and sensitivity to reflect on her social position instead of flaunting her wealth, as she certainly could have, and that is certainly something to be commendable.

The album is much more homogeneous than its predecessor, and the songs, taken individually, may be less interesting (except for "My Future," which I consider a masterpiece), but overall the project is much more complex and articulated and includes some tracks that I dare to define culturally relevant, like the one drawn from Gustav Holst.

Absolutely relevant.

It was better when you wrote the press releases. Gorgeous track, super fresh, 100% DD that I’m already listening to on loop, I can’t wait for the album to drop.

When I read the text, I swear, it shocked me. The entire play is incredibly emotional, and when you reach the ending, there's that incomprehensible sound which is the touch of genius on a text of genius. I haven't seen this show performed in the theater yet, something I would love very much.

I am literally counting the days until the new album arrives, of which "Invisible" is a great appetizer. Moreover, the music video shot by CGI (not in CGI, but by CGI) is truly captivating and unsettling at the same time; it feels like a creepypasta. As for the review: I say this without malice, but it reads more like a press release from the record label than an actual review.

She is always wonderful and I will always listen to her, but this latest album, I don’t know, maybe the style just isn’t for me. I preferred her in “Hairless Toys,” where I think she reached a particularly successful level. The review, however, is very good and I agree with the curious trend of dance music just when you can’t go dancing.

Non-review that, however, was excellent for making me listen to this song. I can't assess the evidently personal content of Martello, to whom I wish all the best. The song is indeed remarkable and very interesting, somewhat Bach-like choral and a bit of a 70s rock anthem.

One of the ten records of my life. An absolute masterpiece. I’ve known it by heart since my high school days. There isn’t a note or a syllable out of place, including the homage to Neapolitan music (in my opinion recorded like that, by pure chance, and then included in the album) and the sublime, moving, emotional title track. I’ll go out on a limb and use the adjective brilliant, if not for the entire album at least for its best moments, and there are many. Thank you for this review-story, truly appreciated.

My favorite album by my favorite Brit-pop band. Half of the album contains extraordinary tracks that I love, while the other half is "simply" a good album. Overall, I believe this is one of the least representative albums by Blur, precisely for the reasons well expressed in the beautiful review (as the band had never worked nor will they work in the same way again as they did for this album), but this does not diminish the fact that it is a work of great value that, in its happiest moments, reaches peaks of genius, particularly in the universally acclaimed _Out of Time_ (as it rightly should) and in the not-so-loved _Crazy Beat_ (whose first discarded video, the one with the four dancers, is truly a masterpiece).

A nice short review, simple and clear, for an album that I don’t consider among the best of the band, but is still in my top 5 of The Cure for personal reasons.

“‘We'll be back Italy,’ one of the most beautiful, where we remember ‘Italy of the '80s and '90s,’” ah yes, what a beautiful Italy with mafia massacres, shady negotiations, corruption at unheard-of levels, television even trashier than today, absolute sexism, the highest pollution in Europe… such nostalgia, huh.
