Very good review, and I particularly agree with the note for the critics who at the time knocked the two hilarious Ace Venturas, which are now being retroactively praised; even some of my friends, whom I don't consider particularly endowed with good taste, laughed in my face when I suggested watching it some time ago... and then the other day I heard them quoting lines from it. Well. Carrey is an extraordinary actor in whatever role he has been given so far, I can't judge what his "golden age" is since he has always seemed excellent to me from the beginning of his career until today (regardless of the quality of the films, but that's another story). I won't rate the movie because I haven't seen it yet, but I will go anyway just because Angela Lansbury is in it, and I absolutely cannot miss her.

One of my ten favorite musicians of the 20th century. Bacharach was an absolute genius; we are not talking about a good musician or a pop star or a chart-topping band: we are talking about a character of immense artistic value that the rock world either ignores or judges as "pleasant," and, coincidentally, is instead welcomed with open arms among fans of jazz and classical music. Excellent collection, really good review.

Welcome to DeBaser! The review is a bit weak; usually discussing the album as a whole is better than judging track by track, but since it's the first review, an extra star can be given. ;) "RossoNoemi" I like because I've always liked Noemi: keep it up, she's only getting better over time.
