I don’t know about the album (even though you can expect only good things from Alice), but the review is very good and enticing. In fact, I’m tempted and will listen very soon.
The Beatles Abbey Road
Voto:
Not a bad review, but I don't quite agree: what the reviewer likes, I'm not so keen on, and vice versa. For example, that delightful gem "Her Majesty" I really like. Anyway, it's a matter of taste, no doubt about it. Perhaps Martin was right about the album; it's their peak.
Kylie Minogue Abbey road session

"Even Madonna hasn't managed to make a record in those studios where the Beatles also sang and recorded": to be honest, Abbey Road has also hosted recordings by, among others, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Gianna Nannini, and Cesare Cremonini, so it's not exactly this unreachable temple; if Madonna hasn't recorded there, it's because she doesn't care at all. About the album: it's not essential, but it's a delight like everything Kylie gifts to the world, starting with the exquisite cover.
Mariah Carey Butterfly
Voto:
An excellent review that also provides a useful minimum cheat sheet to get to know Mariah Carey, whom I abandoned after "Rainbow." The album is a pretty decent work and it pleases its audience, of course, but it doesn’t move me even a little: three because there are those who like it.

I listened to the debut album twice and then deleted it from iTunes: it wasn't worth wasting space on my computer. If this is even worse, just imagine.
Muse Unsustainable
Voto:
I agree with those who wrote that Muse were a great band that is slowly losing itself in the morass of its own musical wankery. I still remember with emotion when, in 1999, I saw for the first time on MTV while having breakfast the music video for "Muscle Museum" and I thought to myself, "a great band has been born"; they made beautiful songs, indeed, but the last truly stunning one was "Supermassive Black Hole" in 2006 and then nothing else but mannerism, sometimes of good quality and sometimes of terrible quality like the Olympic anthem that I almost regretted the Waka-Waka. Frankly, I haven't heard "Unsustainable" yet, but just the name says it all. Excellent review.

Welcome to DeBaser! Nice review of what seems to be a film definitely worth watching.
Tiziano Ferro L'amore è una cosa semplice

The fact that he isn't my favorite artist doesn’t mean I don’t respect him. Besides having a beautiful and pitch-perfect voice, he is objectively endowed with a certain talent, if nothing else for his ability to convert, according to his poetic style, stylistic elements conceived across the Atlantic that no one had ever managed before him to Italianize, and that's no small feat. That said, I can save little from his production because most of his songs are imbued with a drama that I cannot endure, and so only the lighter and/or upbeat tracks manage to move me, like the song for Carrà or "Stop! Dimentica," which is much better than the song it's a plagiarism of ("One Word" by Ozzy Osbourne's daughter).
Maria Antonietta Live @ Camillo, Salò (BS) 05.07.12

One of the most beautiful reviews I've ever read here on DeBaser, perhaps also because I completely agree with the reviewer in loving Maria Antonietta (my sister, on the other hand, loves Chewingum). I discovered her... about a year ago, and it was love at first sight; she is like Carmen Consoli reloaded and even more. I heard her here in San Benedetto del Tronto in May, and she was amazing during the concert and so sweet afterward; she sang Nirvana for us and then made a little heart dedication in the book. This summer, Chewingum is coming back to play at the Maremoto Festival, and I hope the guy brings her along; I want to kiss her cheeks again.

Probably the most useless review ever. Awful song that even Kylieamore, with all her effort, can't save.
