Maybe I’ve seen them too, on a very alcoholic summer evening. But the memory is so uncertain and hazy, and I had taken on the appearance of a mythical being. Half man and half Dreher.

From the very first pages, it seems very, very interesting. I had been looking for a book that addressed the issues of South America in such a precise and well-documented way. ¡Gracias!

Hi Jake, nice to read you again. I'm very interested in the book and I will get it. Brecht's quote might be the only thing that feels out of place in the entire review. Indeed, if the concept expressed applies to certain realities (I always refer to the realities I know best) like Taranto, with its horrors, it doesn't hold up.
Anyway, a splendid page as usual, you haven't rusted :)

I never had the courage to watch it; I thought it was a load of crap. Instead, it seems the film has its reasons. Speaking of people down South: "A Maradona assist is certainly more interesting than any moment acted out by the international thespian." Who says that?
