The record flows and is enjoyable and beautifully cheerful, with "Let The Church Roll On / Won't Be Back" and "I Got Feeling" standing out, but "He Said" is also a great track. I might be saying something outlandish, but the guitar reminds me at more than one point of Bob Quine's style. Maybe it's just my impression due to the wine in my system, as Nero d'Avola is a renowned son of a bitch that hits you over time :))) Here you go!

Ah, lately I've been listening to some old Italian jazz. Do you know Umberto Cesari? A pianist from the forties and fifties with an incredible talent. I've managed to find a little bit of stuff online, but there's this somewhat dated article from Jazzitalia that talks about him, and you can find some solo piano pieces, standards, and news about his life, etc...
