In my opinion, this album doesn't even come close to the first two EPs and Free Dirt, and beyond the love a fan may feel, there is objectively a decline in terms of inspiration, songwriting, and - above all - power. They've traveled the world and learned how to mix the album really well, as it was done everywhere else in the world, from the Manzanarre to the Rhine, all the way to NY and Seattle. Too well, alas, and the result is a distortion from which they will never fully recover, entering the sunset as just another pop group. To give you an idea of where we stand, this is Brian May's favorite DP album. I don't think there's anything else to add.
