I hope other Debaser reviewers won’t mind me saying that I hadn’t found anything interesting for a few days. Anyway, thanks dolphy, also because you chose a not-so-famous name to talk about free jazz; honestly, I’m still getting into the orbit of this genre, but after some listens of Ornette Coleman, I’d say we’re almost there and I’m starting to enjoy the records "adrenalinically". The tip from muito about the book is also commendable.

primiballi, the person writing to you is 23 years old and grew up on "PANE E PINO". From Terra Mia to Musicante, Pino has written one of the most beautiful pages of Italian music. Those who have those records probably don't need to buy this album, although I might still give it a listen.

Contemplation, let me tell you! This review is also a full and complete 5. By the way, not to pry into your business, but in a recent review (sorry for the cacophony) of Dolphy, you mentioned a "laboratory of improvisation." Do you happen to attend UM in Rome? I repeat: only if I’m not invading your personal space. Best regards.

The review is well done and timely. It would be 4.5, but why be a jerk? Personally, I’ve listened to all the Toto albums multiple times, but the one from 1978 and Toto IV have an extra edge; Fredrikson (or Frederiksen?) has an amazing voice, but it’s not my favorite album. Cheers!

Yes, I mean the University of Music in Rome. Since I had read in your and Conte's comments something about a "laboratory group for improvisation," I thought that you both studied at UM. Anyway, I just wanted to know because I have half a mind to enroll next year.

When it comes to artists like this, giving it a 5 on the record is a must, I will look for it immediately.
PS: By any chance, are you or Contemplazione enrolled at UM?
Ada Montellanico e Enrico Pieranunzi Danza di una ninfa, storie di Tenco

Hal, compliments. I read the review and the interview, even though they are a bit dated. I love Enrico Pieranunzi, so I will try to get this album sooner or later, without falling into the temptation to download it. It seems to me that this is not the first attempt to transpose Tenco's songs into a jazz key. It also seems that Danila Satragno did something similar, not more than a year and a half ago.
