Giona, a true star (but are we dealing with Jonah Lomu?), here’s a five for you. Manfred Schulz rings a bell... but I can’t recall.

Hi Emanuele. I followed all the comments with unusual attention. I have no words; if even 50% of what you said has a basis in reality, you are my lifelong idol. I would like to ask you many things, but I will just ask you one if you have the time and inclination to respond. I have read about an Anderson who died prematurely from tuberculosis; it is said he was a genius, some say unreachable. Miles Davis seems to have replaced him in Billy Eckstine's orchestra. Can you tell us something about that?

@muffinman. I've heard about the possible degradation of the glues used in old CDs, and I don't know whether to believe it or not, since opinions are numerous and divergent. As you rightly said, it might just be nonsense, let's hope not. I didn't mean to say that my experience can be considered valid as a general case, also because, as I wrote, the biggest disturbance to my discs is me. I don’t know, for now I’ll just look at my ECMs and pray Manitù.

But should this only apply to broadcasts that more or less subtly criminalize the internet? If we start to understand the broadcasts pointed out by Il_Paolo, are we completely off-topic or am I wrong? What does "Uomini e Donne" have to do with it, come on.

Hey Antonio, I finally got around to your review of "The Way Up."
The first 15 minutes of this album are phenomenal. By the way, I don't know how consciously some passages recall Coltrane's "Acknowledgement"; the main phrase of the theme repeated frantically and shifting every time into a new key, almost a chase between guitar and instruments (check around the 10:00 mark).
That pulse you feel throughout the album, I call it Antonio Sanchez. I believe that the Mexican's entry into the PMG has been a godsend for Metheny. The PMG, to thrive and perform at its best, needs to feature a "stylish" drummer, someone who can give their all without overdoing it, allowing Pat to lay down his flowing phrases, and Sanchez provides just the right amount, without any inappropriate solutions. Alright, enough rambling in one comment. As you can see, I can be quite wordy too. Cheers!
