Robert Fripp And The Orchestra Of Crafty Guitarists Live @ Convento La Pace, Sassoferrato (AN) 26.03.10

Of course, seeing Fripp for free just a few kilometers from home is one of the biggest strokes of luck, musically speaking, that I've had the chance to experience.

I didn't mind it; I watched it recently since Sky has been re-airing it due to its Oscar triumph. I found some good insights in it; honestly, I don't care much that it won 6 statuettes, but it's not to be dismissed. Worth watching and giving it some thought.

I don't know, I see too many exclamation marks attached to this album. I have to be honest. It's true that it gets better with listening, but let's not make it something sensational. Let's also keep in mind that it took them 7 years to release an album (not counting last year's EP). A good album but nothing more, let's not praise it for what it isn't.

I don’t believe a pop artist works their whole life for a ā€œnormal, mediocre in the best sense of the termā€ album. I quote verbatim. Welcome to DeBaser. The review is a bit redundant: ā€œIt’s an album...ā€ repeated 15,000 times gets on your nerves. The beginning is overly verbose; I don’t mind a declaration of intentions, but tighten it up a bit (you can keep it long in the personal section). One last thing, don’t throw in all those genres. Find those 2-3 that fit best. P.S. Don’t wait for the next decade; it’s fine not to shoot all your bullets at once, but don’t take too long. I’ll save the rating for next time.

Fabulous soundtrack for a hilarious and utterly non-trivial movie.

I don't know them, but reading some comments above, they deserve to be discovered; I will take note.

On Olafur Arnalds, I add that in the last year and a half he has produced some very interesting material (a couple of EPs and something should be released this year as well). I also placed a review of his 2008 album. @Hell, you really need to catch up.

Everything you want, but they can't name a bridge on the Lungarno in Florence after Fiumani? At least it would reflect the local expertise better?

I don’t know them, but I’ll make a note of them.

Awesome! A devastating mix of trash and tackiness, all set in Naples. It's simply GENIUS! Gigione reigns!
