A particular Bowie, certainly different from the usual. Two honest and decent albums emerge, nothing more. From honest craftsmen.

The review, despite the T-B-T (the record has been playing for a while now), is nice and definitely well-written. Of these guys, I’ve only briefly heard those two tracks that have been played everywhere, and they didn’t say much to me.

The masterpiece of Deus Ex Machina allows, but I don’t consider it "De Republica"; in my opinion, "Cinque" surpasses it by a lot. Still, they deserve a lot as a band, especially for the voice of Alberto Piras, the singer. The references to Demetrio Stratos are quite evident.

As far as I'm concerned, with this and "Fight Club," Fincher has pulled two strokes of genius out of his hat that few others have been able to replicate. In my opinion, Zodiac is a decent film, nothing more (I have reevaluated it negatively).

The review isn't bad, but I don't agree with the opening paragraph. Pop doesn't have to be necessarily unpretentious; it's something that can possibly appeal to a wider audience, but it shouldn't be just catchy and trivial. We should distinguish "certain pop" that can be widely listened to but has its own value from something that is simply useless and commercial music, in the most vulgar sense of the term.

The progressive wave of the '70s is interesting and in Italy, it has surely been among the most important. Paradoxically, it is better known abroad than at home, and you can find relatively young bands as well as others with around 20 years of experience behind them. The described group is unobtrusive; perhaps it's better to look for better results elsewhere.

Impalade Nazarene... marked! I'm really curious.

Welcome to Debaser. The review didn't turn out very well, but you've filled an important gap. One of the most talked-about albums of 2008, personally I wouldn't call it a masterpiece or a miracle. It's a good album, that much is true.

A fair analysis, I don't fully agree with it. In my opinion, Tricarico has improved over the years, becoming much more introspective and almost anguished. He has managed to adapt better to what he was describing; with "Io Sono Francesco," it almost seemed like he wasn't taken seriously. Now, on the other hand, he has earned greater recognition.

The proposal doesn't interest me, despite the review.
