Yes, I feel that you wrote it with passion :) As for the rest, great album, the best from Death, great songs, powerful sound, and more "death" than "technical/prog" (but we are far from the crystalline perfection of Symbolic). Notable technique, compositional fantasy, however, I disagree about DiGiorgio: the only point where he can really be heard is for a handful of seconds during the bass solo in Cosmic Sea; otherwise, it’s impossible to hear the bass on the album. By the way, this story about the skill of death metal bassists seems a bit of a cliché to me; I mean, being professional musicians without a doubt, they're capable of playing, but they're drowned out by the guitars and you can't hear a damn thing they're doing!

Anyway, I listened to the album last night... it's a really great album, although calling it a masterpiece is too much.
