I saw it at the cinema and I liked it very much; I have a soft spot for special effects. Anyway, you're right about the stereotypes. But enough about my Giacobbo! He spends his time debunking the legend of two thousand twelve!

yet another review that dismantles and criticizes. I don't know, it must have truly sucked for everyone this movie. I've already expressed my thoughts on it, but at least you could have said a few words about Deep's splendid performance! The delirium, in my opinion, IS in a sense an insult to the so-called human intelligence... but that's just my opinion.

stefano90, I would gladly philosophize about this, but it doesn’t seem like the right place. However, you are right about one thing: I could have included a nice "in my opinion" or "I believe" in the second post, but it seemed obvious to me that since I am the scribe, the thought was necessarily personal and subjective. Briefly, I believe that the true illusion is not the existence of a higher entity called God (a reality for those who believe) or in any other way and language, but rather all those neatly packaged little fables designed to keep the restless in check and to regulate certain community behaviors. In simpler terms, the pig should not be eaten not because it is sacred (illusion), but because in certain countries where the heat is suffocating, pork spoils and causes serious health issues. Should we talk about paradise? About all the parables created to soothe the lost sheep? And what should we say about the commandments? Have they not always seemed like laws to harmonize the chaotic state that prevailed at the time? EVERYTHING I write is obviously my personal, highly debatable opinion. Have a good evening.

stefano90 forgive me, but your post (the 23rd) means a bunch of fried nonsense. First, oh my God, you say that illusion cannot be conceived without reality... and from what, pray tell, would it arise? And what kind of illusion would it be if it didn't sprout from that solid ground called reality? You’re probably confusing it with fantasy, but even that, alas, is tied to reality. Second, I wish you would entertain the idea that you might not be right sometimes, and that no one has absolute answers and certainties. Third, laRock is a woman, and she certainly doesn't call anyone for discovering hot water by turning on a tap connected to a boiler.

In 2010, there are still people who believe they have absolute and indisputable certainty about something... Even that there is no god. Far more serious than believing in a higher entity is not trusting in anything at all.

I like it because it never markets its services as absolute truth. It analyzes hypotheses and provides me with interesting insights on topics I have always been somewhat curious about (albeit skeptically!). Moreover, it relaxes me too... welcome after days of serious commitment is a bit of "non-essential" culture, let's call it that. Have a good evening!
