Steve Morse Band Southern Steel
Voto:
exceptional review, which only lacks in revealing an important detail: you say that every record or work in general is a child of its time without specifying in which context this souther steel should be placed... I only own major impact from 2000 by the Steve Morse Band, which I remember fondly. once again, congratulations.

...as much as I really want to provoke a nice argument in the condominium with this record! very interesting review, biased but there's nothing wrong with that, in fact I understand you..4.5!

I'm very curious to hear it in full; for now, I'll just stay tuned to the single and various samples... around here, I've seen the record for 24 euros; I'll probably wait for the prices to drop...

I don't have it... of course, when these guys started improvising, the minutes stopped counting! Great call back!
Ian Gillan One Eye To Morocco
Voto:
Are you referring to Gillan's first solo album from '76? Unfortunately, I never had the chance to hear it...but if you take a look on Wikipedia, you’ll realize that he really put in a lot of effort, whether with the Purple or with his constantly changing line-ups for solo projects! I think it’s quite a rare work to come by; One Eye is one of the first experiences I had with Ian outside of Purple and I was very fascinated...

for me shock wave is by far the best track on the album

but did he make a song in his name without even talking about it?

really delicious (4.5 only because it’s a bit tight) but rich in information, I agree on practically everything and especially on the "Beatles-style" choruses.... well done!
Kiss Hotter Than Hell
Voto:
A somewhat underwhelming album by Kiss, in my opinion the worst of the 70's, but still good. "Going Blind" is truly a gem, while some rock'n'roll tracks are a bit static! The review is so-so, you really say little about the album and you seem overly reverential; still, it's sufficient!
