Alan Lomax Italian Treasury: Folk Music and Song of Italy - A Sampler
Voto:
So... the review is excellent, perhaps more than a review it almost resembles a treatise on history.
Bravo muito, regarding the cover, it’s the classic photo-cover, although I must say (write) that from all those faces, "humanity" and suffering shine through; the monochromatic choice of the photo is perfect.
The text at the top is valid, while the little white box in the bottom left is a bit too exaggerated in size and tends to break the "artistic" value of the photograph. Moreover, the white text "Folk Music and Song of Italy" could easily have been moved to the bottom right above "A Sampler"; it diminishes a bit of the value and meaning of the photo.
All of this is my opinion.
Folk greetings.

Beyond the limit of starlight My love Is wandering among the stars I know It will find in corners filled with stars Love, A strange love taught by a stellar woman, I know That its journey will not end, its journey among the stars Will continue forever.
But tell it While it wanders in the starry sea Remember, remember me.

Acc! It's true...the great Karel Thole, I have hundreds of his images on the covers of the Urania collection.
Greetings Tholeans.

Right on, Jake!
Even though his "guitar playing" is slightly exaggerated, it still sounds phenomenal.
Remarkable cheers.

Uh! No, it’s on a Toto album, even though it’s not quite the classic solo, but it showcases Porcaro's skill in maintaining rhythm and power on the drums.
Drum greetings.

@Il Paolo, as often happens with many artists, I recommend the early works from the '70s that already showcase his abilities, certainly the first one from '73 All American Boy. A periodically aristocratic greeting to Count (without mplazione) DeSade. Did you happen to eat Mexican beans today?

Anyway, the cover is well done, vaguely surreal-metaphysical.

@everyone, thanks for the comments.
@muito, frankly, I don’t even know what guitar he uses, maybe if an expert passes by here, they might tell us...
@jargon, actually, from what I know about your favorite music genres, it’s not exactly suited to you, but still, since I also like prog among other things, I think it’s a great live album.
