So... the review is well done, I’d give it a 4.49, almost a 5, I can sense the reviewer’s passion for this band. As for the album, personally (in my opinion) it's not a masterpiece, although I must admit it has a superior "inner" strength compared to many other records, I’d rate it a 3.8. The band's ability to musically "dive" deep into the human psyche at Jungian levels is remarkable, even though compositional aspects of certain instrumental passages come off as "elementary" and "predictable." One shouldn't assume that if an album is "obscure" or little-known it must necessarily be a masterpiece, because it might have simply been overlooked. Of course, the expressive power achieved through a sort of sonic "magma" is noteworthy, almost hypnotic. The cover (front) is elementary even though it has its own conceptual "value" and is made from 2x42 series of five-line bars (almost micro-staves). If you take this image and observe it from a few centimeters away, closing one eye for a few seconds and then reopening it, you may notice a strange "distortion" in your gaze, not because of the eye but due to the mind that needs to reprocess and readjust the images of the lines; it's an optical illusion. Ah! I see that Mr. Insolito has managed to stir up the usually calm 'master' prog Jargon... I can't believe it... Bzzzz... neural batteries running low, just enough time for some experimental greetings...

@TinyBanks received, however, almost always the first listen is always "deceptive" at least in my opinion, in fact even when I listened to it for the first time I wasn't convinced until I gave it a 4, if the vote in the end can have such an important meaning because in the end you either like it or you don't and if you like it you listen to it again.
For the DDD writing, do you say I should "complain" to the record label? Maybe I can get a few euros back! hehehe!
Greetings to you as well, in analog.

Bzzzz! standby mode deactivated... so I've already voted on comment 9.
As for the record I got a few days ago (remastered), I consider it a very valid live album, and as you rightly write, "As The Crow Flies" is perhaps the most "hard-hitting" track.
In my opinion, Gallagher has been underrated, but not quite as much as you say; he was still a sincere and humble artist.
Personally (in my opinion) though, I slightly preferred a live show by R...D........ (it's up to you to find out who it is) for its tastier, more calibrated solos that are sometimes quicker.
Bluesy regards... bzzzz standby mode reactivated.

@muito, I didn't know him until now; I went to see some of his works. Personally, I really like Siqueiros, of whom I own an old book (without autograph) that is quite "substantial" with some stunning photos of his works.

...I'm sure that if they had wanted to play more "complex" music, they could have easily done so... In the meantime, I'm going to get my neural structure "remastered"...

So... the review is well done, rating 4.6, which rounded up becomes... you do the math...
I’ve never listened to this particular album, but knowing them quite well, I would trust in their quality and professionalism.
In general, Toto has always produced good/excellent technically valid and very catchy works; obviously, they aren’t always the most original, but it’s not said that someone who listens to music must always seek some obscure compositions—sometimes good music played well is simply enough.
I’m sure that if they wanted to, they could (so many conditionals) have played much more complex music.
The name of the band is taken from the dog in the Wizard of Oz, but perhaps you already knew that.
For now, I remain on stand-by waiting for the "detractors" of Toto...
Greetings in AOR style.

@Giona... indeed, it wouldn't be a bad idea... who knows... I'll think about it gradually hahaha! As for what you wrote in comment 13, I agree, from what I’ve listened to so far I have immediately preferred the Samurai. Gradual greetings, of course.

As for the two progressive 'masters', I believe they know who I am referring to. I partially dedicate this review to them.

Thank you Anatas for the clarifications about your nickname, like Rocky in his movie, I respond that you too are a legend (okay, the word was big, but it’s the same).
PS@Psycroptic, I’ve never copied anyone, apparently you haven’t read my various posts carefully; sure, sometimes I like to remind a couple of reviewers I admire.
Greetings Anatasic and Psycropticic (of course periodically).
