I’ll tell you this: I’ve been a longtime fan of PJ, and in '93, after wearing out the CD of "Vs," I was waiting with bated breath for the release of their new work... "Vitalogy" would only arrive in '94, but a year earlier, I couldn't believe that I found an album that sounded very (maybe even too) similar to PJ and AIC, and that album was "Core." To me, they seemed just a substitute for the bands I preferred, a way to kill time while waiting, an album that could be played while anticipating the records I needed to have and consume. I also bought "Purple" when it came out, and I thought it was overall better than the previous one, more varied and a bit more melodic, but still a B-list album from a B-list band. In fact, I don’t understand all this anticipation that, from what I gather from various sources online, is surrounding the STP reunion.

I remember Semisonic too, "Closing Time" and another song whose title I can't recall were played a lot on MTV a few years back. They seemed to me like a one-hit wonder band or slightly more, the classic little rock band with 2 or 3 good songs per album, and the rest fluff. Maybe someone will prove me wrong...

The pearl "it will be difficult even for you..." have I seen it only?
There will be difficult years even for us, but for some "it takes little" (just a little) like Vasco's new CD to think that Italy (lowercase by obligation) is still the beautiful country.

The gothic keyboards kick in: "Piri pippippiri piripiri piripà!!!" And then the evocative singing "BLAAAA BLAAAA BLAAAAAAAAAAAAA BLEEEAAAARARRRGHGH!!!"
