Ministry Cover Up

In my opinion, they could have disbanded three or four albums ago. Sure, the anti-Bush political commitment is commendable, but the music is a tired repetition of the same formulas, and these covers smell of a pointless show of style.

And this would be a review????
Rome Masse Mensch Material
Voto:
I listened to it, and the album is beautiful, just as the previous one "confessions d'un voleur d'ames" was very good. Sometimes you can hear echoes of the masters "death in june," and sometimes something from the less cacophonic and more lyrical Neubauten, but Rome has its own style, poetry and perfection.

How can you compare Monster with Accelerate? How can you? They are two completely different albums. The first one is an acid-electric frenzy, while the second leans towards a more "institutional" rock. The first had few valid songs and a sharp, disorienting sound impact; this one has quite a few good songs, and the sounds are less disorienting, more reassuring.

Very good review.
The album, as I already mentioned in the other (mini) review, I like quite a bit, and it's one of the best since Bill Berry left. Favorite track: "Houston," I love the sound of that organ...
Robert Fripp & Brian Eno No Pussyfooting
Voto:
"Evening Star" is two spans below; this is the true successful record of the Fripp & Eno collaboration, they tried again several times but without reaching the perfection of these two sound flows enclosed in "no pussyfooting."

MINI-review discreetly says more or less everything that needs to be known in a short space; as for the album, it might be one of the best since Bill Berry's departure. Of course, nothing new under the sun; it's nice to hear a return to the sounds of the "life's rich pageant," "document," and "green" era (in my opinion, the best albums by REM); it's only rock 'n roll, but I like it...
Joy Division Closer

Well, we should understand what you mean by dark, then we can talk about it again.
(And yes, gothic rock exists, Mission, Cult, etc...)
Lenny Kravitz It Is Time For A Love Revolution
Voto:
Lenny has been playing the same record for years now; until "Are You Gonna Go My Way" it wasn't bad, but then he also started to coast on his past success...
