Sean Penn has made a film that is well below his capabilities, perhaps he's getting daft with age, ...if we strip away the heaps of rhetoric, we're left with a splendid National Geographic documentary.

@Ghemison: I agree, with the eponymous album they dared more; there wasn't just the smooth "trip-hop" of Dummy, but the sounds were more acidic, disturbing.

The review is better in form than many others, but in content, in my opinion, it really misses the mark (de gustibus?). Sure, I could give it a 2, but that last sentence is truly ridiculous! I do agree with the second to last one, as if to say "time will tell"... But giving this album one star isn't brave; it's just deaf.

It's okay that the album "may" not be liked, it's fine to go against the current, but here we are on the edge of ridiculousness, then the last sentence is truly the tombstone of this review...
The album deserves a 4.5.
