@ templare: Well, look... I don't consider either of them masterpieces, but they are still absolutely enjoyable albums. If I had to choose, my favorites would probably be "Please Don't Touch" because even though there are tracks I can't stand (like "How Can I" and "Hoping Love Will Last," which are undeniably nice pieces but break the album in two, not fitting into the context of it at all, in my opinion), the final part from "Land of a Thousand Autumns" to "Icarus Ascending" is truly remarkable... not to mention "Kim." "Spectral Mornings" has sounds that stray too far from what I usually enjoy, although I reiterate that it is a nice album, boasting among its tracks an absolute masterpiece like "Lost Time in Cordoba." As for Steve's thoughts on a reunion, we can only speculate... just a little while ago, I read an interview where the guitarist stated that he was leaving every possibility open without turning his back on anyone, but waiting to talk to the interested parties (the Genesis, of course). However, these are all ambiguous words that say one thing and its opposite. I don't know the real reasons why he seems to reject the idea of getting closer to the band, but from what I've seen so far, whatever they may be, they are enough to make the possibility of a reunion in the near future highly unlikely.

I particularly appreciate pastoral compositions and medieval folk, so, Guns4ever, in a way, yes..."stamo ner medioevo" (or at least I am...).

Thank you for the comments! @templare: Steve's discography is vast and controversial, and while I know it quite well, I admit to fully appreciating only a few works. I also consider "Voyage" his best episode, but his acoustic albums (Bay of Kings, Momentum, Sketches of Satie) and the others accompanied by orchestra (A Midsummer Night's Dream, Metamorpheus) truly deserve a deep listen... at least in my opinion! Hello everyone!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comments. @TheJargonKing: You are absolutely right in saying that I might have gone on a bit too long, but there is so much to say about this album, and I wanted to create a picture that was comprehensive enough, especially for those who might be hearing about this work for the first time. Bye bye and thanks to everyone!

Thank you all! @ the green manalishi: I'm glad to have been of help to you, maybe when you've listened to it let me know what you think. In the review, I avoided talking about the bonus track "Master of Time," which is present in the CD version, since, although it is not a despicable composition (excluding the quality of the mixing), it does not fit in the context of "The Geese and the Ghost," so I decided to skip it and focus solely on describing the actual pieces of the album. Hi everyone and thanks again!
