Yes, well, it’s actually better to skip the album; I won’t even vote for it. The review, on the other hand, is essential but effective. Good job! :)

Thank you so much Green! @Terryyyy: Damn, I know you were joking! I didn’t think you were a fanatic going around prophesying the end of the world!! XD I just told you what I know about it (which is very little). The only things I know are about the Mayan calendars which, far from being catastrophic prophecies or omens of death, are simply counts generated by their mathematical and astronomical studies. I truly didn’t want to jump to any conclusions! Let alone… No worries, no misunderstanding, it seems like there have already been enough of those in this review Hahahaha! (and anyway, I'm still curious to know if that Norwegian disk really exists or if it's all a hoax) :p

@Oma: Ah yes yes, often, the pilot of a series is a double episode structured like a film, which is supposed to introduce characters and events that will kick off the potential series. Here it comes out anyway, but I don’t know if it’s split up for scheduling needs. I really don’t know how the airing of TV series works on Italian networks because I watch everything on the computer in the original language (with subtitles though); in fact, if there’s one thing I hate... it’s dubbing! I can't stand it. It distorts both the dialogue and the personality of the character. Then I can't stand television in general. P.S. I had taken it as a joke, but deep down I hoped there was another film that could eclipse that horror that just came out. What a disgraceful end for such a beautiful series.. Sob..

Hahaha! Of course, regarding the original topic, I didn’t stray off topic at all, did I! :p

@Katharsys: It's a good idea regarding the first one (as long as you don't reveal too much of the plot, although we've already done that here :D), the second is extremely avoidable for me, but if you want to criticize it, feel free :) @Terry: Conflicting opinions on this theory are rampant online. Everyone thinks they know everything, but each person says something different. The Mayan texts that survived the Spanish destruction are very few, and I believe that not everyone who claims to know has even read half a line of them. All I know is that the Maya followed a triple count of time, using a solar calendar (incredibly similar to our current one, consisting of 365 days), a ritual calendar (of 260 days), and a "Long Count" (which, unlike the first two, does not count days but rather the years which would constitute each "era of the world"). The numbers in each counting system are correlated by a mathematical system that made these calculations extremely precise. The "Long Count" seems to be produced from the simple solar year (called kun), which, when multiplied by twenty, clearly generates a period of twenty years (called katun) which, in turn multiplied by twenty, results in a timespan of four hundred years (called batkun). An entire era, according to Mayan beliefs, was indeed formed by thirteen batkun, that is 5,200 years (on the web, people often mention 5,125 years, but I don't know why. Perhaps the counting is influenced by other factors I am unaware of). The fact is that the current era (some say it's the fourth, others the fifth) will end on December 21-22, 2012. All of this has given rise to a sea of rumors, but I, who know nothing on the subject, only see the end of a calculated period. Some say that these systems of cataloging eras traced the planet's magnetic changes, which, as a result, would see it devastated each time by the natural upheavals that would follow. Far from having clear ideas on the matter, I will immerse myself in relevant readings, as long as I find plausible writings and not excessively fanciful or catastrophic ones based on nothing.

About the famous invasion of December 22nd? I'm afraid not, or at least I strongly doubt it. I haven't heard anything about it, and David Duchovny seems to have settled into the role of libertine writer in Californication, which is now in its second season. I find it hard to imagine him back in the shoes of Fox, in my opinion.

But indeed, I can't understand how Chris, after filming a total of nine seasons and finally reaching the crucial point of the entire story, set everything aside pretending that nothing had ever happened, starting from scratch (Fox once again alone and misunderstood, Dana inexplicably returned to being skeptical about everything and everyone despite being the irrational counterpart to John Doggett at the end of the series, the government conspiracy completely erased…). Inexplicable. Thank goodness J.J. Abrams (one of the creators of Lost) has recently brought to life Fringe, a new series very much in the style of X-Files (although here there is a greater focus on scientific explanation), which so far holds great promise :)

Really!? Wait, I knew that two X-Files movies had been made throughout history: One back in 1998 (beautiful) that sticks to the events of the series and takes place between the fifth and sixth seasons; then there's the one that came out this year which, despite the apocalyptic ending of the TV show, unfolds as if nothing had happened, in a future where Mulder and Scully have both left the FBI, but return to action to solve this utterly pointless case of organ smuggling (basically), also thanks to the help of a priest with fluctuating precognitive abilities. Is there more?
Voto:
Mmhh.. the plot thickens.. I will contact Agent Mulder to see if he has discovered anything, even though I'm not very hopeful.. (Have you seen the recently released X-Files movie? It was a nightmare, but not in the sense of "exciting"... in the sense of "bleak." At this point, the righteous question arises: "Was it really necessary?" Well..)

Ardalo, I’m afraid many of us know personally this type of enthusiast, overflowing with knowledge and with a proud and fiery character... Maybe not very diplomatic... :p (:p = a smiley that indicates maximum sarcasm and indescribable hilarity, as well as immeasurable sympathy). I have privately called upon the wise Jargon, though, and I will eagerly await his response... I need to shed light on this matter. If anyone has grasped the idea more than I have (and it doesn't take much because I haven't understood anything), I kindly ask you to enlighten my primitive and underdeveloped mind. This Norwegian X-File will be solved. Or at least "I want to believe"...
