Stratospheric Jargon! Please, keep the prog banner high while I try, hopefully soon, to scrape together the funds for another computer, since mine has suddenly decided to graze on the sweet heavenly meadows. As for the album rating, I'm quite unsure...

In this time of obscene reviews and new sections, this is an oasis in the desert :)

Welcome! As I’ve mentioned before, Italian prog doesn’t excite me, so I’ll reserve my applause for this sober and pleasant review. Well done. However, I don’t feel like tearing apart an album with undeniable instrumental qualities, even though the annoying "vocalità nostrana" manages, on its own, to undermine much of the musical landscape of the time.

Thank you so much Lazy & Zzot! Until next time :)

Thank you all! @Macaco: I wonder the same thing, and I hope that, sooner or later, we will manage to dissipate these shadows of the past that haunt us, thus giving us the courage to look at ourselves with honesty and without hiding behind dogmas or beliefs specifically erected to control us and diminish our human nature. As for the images, I couldn't help but set up this review "art gallery" style, since the page I linked at the end (also featuring the cover by H.R. Giger), written when I still didn’t understand the "sacred precepts of the link," demanded revenge :p (so here’s an additional link to the artwork that constituted the main façade of the LP by Island: link rotto

An excellent and widely shareable review manifesto that depicts those aspects of the "pure" satirical movement that have gradually faded, reducing the entirety of the concept to the sad (or at least infinitely less incisive) parody of itself.

SECOND COMMENT OR THE COMMENT IN ITS PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECT, materialized by the insurmountable hesitation of the commentator in watching this feature film, after having received a "deadly blow to the gums" (artistic, shall we say) after having participated in the cinematic events of that "Imbalsamatore," embodied in the ill-fated and gripping presence of the taxidermist Peppino.

-"For 200 dollars, I would strangle my grandma." - "I don't think it will be necessary." - "You can never tell. In the last case, I had to throw my brother out of a plane. Poor guy." Hahaha :D Too bad I didn't get many of the references to other movies. I'll have to fill these cinematic gaps... I think at that point rewatching this would be even more fun.

I listened to this album once so distractedly that it's as if I hadn't listened to it at all. And I don't have much interest in making up for it right now. The review, on the other hand, is nice and flows well :)

A musically valid album, even though I find it difficult to digest the exaggerated melodramatic singing (which is massively present both in the vocals and in the lyrics), so characteristic of almost all Italian progressive rock. It’s no coincidence that the episodes (or fragments of suites) I find most enjoyable are the instrumental ones (too few, to be honest). I would say an objective 4 and a subjective 3. Review, as usual, impeccable (although a slightly larger photo of the band would have been nice :p).
