Yes... Taurus, you nailed it! Finnegan, you're right about everything, but you can't say that 90s melodic HC is all crap, because that drags in people like Bad Religion, and I just can't let that slide! :D

I might follow these kinds of news a bit on the sidelines, but even I haven't heard of them... Anyway, I've listened to these Comeback Kid and Champions and I've formed the idea that they make a rather shouty hardcore, not too melodic but still incredibly catchy... this doesn't align with my tastes because I need something healthily new and innovative... zorryyy :)... anyway, the fact that they seem unknown is a bit strange, actually... for example, Champions is with Bridge Nine, which produces bands like Agnostic Front, Sick of It All, New Found Glory, and Comeback Kid is with Victory, home of Funeral for a Friend, or Smallman Records for Propagandhi... who knows... maybe in general, this stuff just isn't catching on right now.

"I don't dispute the Descendents; I like them too, and just imagine, I have a resemblance in terms of registration with the singer that makes me smile quite a lot." This is the incriminating phrase :D from which we start to uncover the mystery! So... in my opinion, you could call yourself MILO! Yes! It fits perfectly with the registration!!! Anyway, I really want to know!!!

yeess of course the fugazi!:D on chiquita chaser I don't sooo...
but what detail would that be? like that you were born the same year as a Descendents album? '96! you would be a genius reviewer in the making!

Well, oh my... not too much... and anyway, throw in an interlude in Bob with the trumpet or a Johnny Appleseed, with Monkey Boogie... well, in the end, it’s all a matter of taste. Anyway, the bands I like are punk rock and pop punk; you won't find me into metal... I've never liked it as a genre, and I don't even follow new stuff... right now, I listen a lot to singer-songwriters, mostly acoustic stuff, and then post-hardcore or American indie rock from the '90s... new things that catch my attention here and there, always in the indie scene, both foreign and domestic.

so I’m getting older :(!:D
well, I’ve never liked ska-punk, so since I find the NOFX sound much more distilled, I prefer it; it becomes a pleasant blend that doesn’t overwhelm.
When it comes to the topic, I don’t indulge in reviews because my favorite albums have already been adequately described by others, and I don’t want to be redundant, at least the albums that are fundamental in my opinion (which are also the ones that make me want to write). For the rest, I’m a bit into other sounds (well, I’ve actually always been quite eclectic :D), and so even what I find new and enjoyable isn’t in the genre... occasionally I check out melodic hc releases because, you never know... but I’m increasingly realizing that it’s a declining style.
And then you’re the one making them, right?!:D I recommend, if you haven’t already, listening to "Redemption" by Useless ID, or The Loved Ones, or Strike Anywhere (which I think I’ve already mentioned to you)... nothing transcendental... (professional pop punk/melodic hc) but if you’re into the genre now, maybe you’ll like them.

At least Rowling's books are for children (and it's possible that they also appeal to adults), so even though I've never read Harry Potter, I can understand its existence. However, the success of these books by Meyer is absurd to me! As long as you're 14, maybe it can happen... but I honestly can't fathom how an adult reading this stuff can manage (even men!?!). Given that many people raved about the saga convincingly, I decided to read Twilight out of curiosity, and what can I say, classic book to judge by its cover! Even if you've encountered an endless series of jerk types, you can't let yourself be enchanted by the stereotypical male character in this series; instead, it seems that is precisely the reason for all the fuss. To me, he seems more like a stalker-obsessive than the man of dreams! I really don't see how one could identify with him, especially since I haven't seen these descriptions (the style is very simple and dry, essentially boring). I truly struggled to finish the book, partly because every plot twist is clear from the first line of the first page... I don’t know, I just don't understand people. (Anyway, this seems more like a summary than a review... could it possibly all be the work of a fake?)

taurus, so you're old! :P (just kidding) I'm 22 years old :D! Anyway, I just said that I prefer PP... maybe because they took a chance and I think they did well since during that period I prefer other albums... then I never get tangled up in categorizing; I just see if something is beautiful or ugly / if I like it or not, if it's innovative because I don't love clone music (and unfortunately that's a flaw of the genres we're talking about)... also because between punk rock, pop punk, skate punk (?!?), melodic hardcore I get a headache @@... in the end, it's always that attitude when we talk about professional people... there's the more this track, and the more that track... if you average it out, you'll see that album is more pop or more rock or more hc, but honestly, I don't care... then I don't know, maybe you started with the first album and followed the whole story... I was a kid back then, I started with PP and went backward and then forward to Kingwood which I liked (the last one, however, I don't remember) and that's the conclusion I drew, maybe it's pure affection or maybe not! :D
