Stephenie Meyer returns with the much-anticipated book "New Moon," the sequel to "Twilight."

The love story between Isabella Swan (a human) and Edward Cullen (a vampire) continues. Their dream of love goes on, but it is destined to become a nightmare. According to Bella, the most important person, even more than her own life, is Edward.

But he is a vampire, and being in love with a vampire is often dangerous. Their love is an illicit love and can pose a danger to the people around them whom they care about.

On Bella's eighteenth birthday, the Cullen family organizes a party for her, naturally with many gifts from everyone. While she was busy unwrapping the gift from Edward and his sister Alice, she scratched her finger. She looked at the finger to assess the damage she had done, and from the almost invisible wound, a tiny drop of blood trickled down.

Everything happened quickly. Edward lunged at her to protect her from his own family and flung her across the table, making her arm hit the scales of glass near the piano. She was cut from wrist to elbow, and blood was oozing from the entire injury. Suddenly, she met the gaze of six ravenous vampires, members of the family. They were all forced to stop breathing in the scent of blood and leave the house to restrain Jasper, the newcomer to the vampire family. Edward realizes that theirs is an impossible love, that even a small domestic accident can jeopardize Bella's peace and life.

Every reader understands that neither of them could live without the other, and Bella had never been afraid of her boyfriend and the Cullen family, but she must be very careful not to make mistakes, even though, unfortunately, she attracts them to herself. Will their love, even if impossible, be destined to end?

They love each other, and Bella has never loved anyone as she loves Edward! Their story is very romantic and not without its twists and turns. The Cullen family will be forced to move away for Bella's sake, but will she be able to erase them from her life, pretending they never existed?

No. Bella falls into depression, and only thanks to her friend Jacob does she manage to overcome months of pain and loneliness. When Bella discovers Jacob's true nature, she begins not to understand why all the characters from a horror movie are popping up, and why she grows so attached to them. These violent delights have violent ends...

Edward believes Bella has committed suicide, and like in Romeo and Juliet, he too wishes to die because he cannot live without her. The clock's hand approaches the fateful hour. Isabella's worst nightmares are coming true.

Will Bella be able to get there in time to save Edward from death?

The books of Stephenie Meyer are texts in which one gets lost in the imagination of the characters, and every time one stops reading, it seems that everything she wrote could have been lived, understanding all the reasons why a character acted in one way rather than another.

As if one were to wake up and for a moment think they have lived, throughout the story, in a fantastical world. Poor Bella will be put to the test for a long time when Edward leaves her alone to save her from himself and his own family!
