Yes, oh my God, for Heaven's sake, let's give them their due credit... but to say that "they have far excelled any other European band" is an exaggeration that reeks of fanaticism.

The slayers, essentially clowns who haven't grown up and tirelessly promote truly laughable concepts when it comes to lyrics and titles. Sorry, but I find them really negligible, especially in recent years.

@darkeve: No, the situation is very different. Metallica did not directly parody the famous white album by The Beatles at all. They did something vaguely similar to a negative, with a cover where the snake and the logo were barely visible; if we look instead at the cover of this record here, we notice the blatant parody of Red, in the position of the faces, in the writings, in the overall image. Come on, Verdena, pick up the luster because Mr. Fripp has the shoes on! :D

Yes, yes, the Verdena may be quite good and have had a success that isn’t entirely undeserved... but parodying the cover of Red by King Crimson in this way would make me exclaim from my chest a nice "Avoid copying the covers of people whose slippers you could perhaps brush off, come on, be good!". Nevertheless, I’ll just refrain from giving any ratings.

Someone in the media control rooms has decided that this little clown should be pushed heavily in light of his new record, to the point of making him appear (read "shamelessly publicized") even on various news broadcasts. Obviously, as has been the case for years, this is a marketing push to sell the fluff without any substance or merit.
