Ozric Tentacles Strangeitude
Voto:
The Ozric Tentacles are excellent. For some, the word Psychedelia must still be stubbornly linked to the word drugs. Limited minds, limited minds...

Great jazz bassist, nothing to say.

Co....what???? Iron to be compared to Battiato???? For those who feed on plasticized Italian singer-songwriters, this album may even seem pleasant. I just can’t swallow such a lack of genuineness and such a pretense of talent.
Garbage Version 2.0

Flow review, really long-winded and somewhat tedious. You would almost seem like a new Calovolo. Let's talk about Garbage: they don't seem like four geniuses at all, and on the contrary, they seem a bit disingenuous, so to speak. Butch Vig remains a remarkable producer, no doubt about that.

Dear Ilpanes... I didn’t give any 1 rating in my previous post, in fact, I didn’t give any rating at all!! This is precisely because I refrain from making actual judgments on albums that I haven’t listened to in full. I've formed an idea about these Allsaints a while ago, and personally, I don't "settle" for some vocal refinements or well-crafted arrangements in an album. It doesn’t take much, if you use the right session musicians, to achieve that; I, like many others who love music for what it is, seek and desire more, and I don't want my ears to be "fed" by some marketing expert. Certainly, the music we BUY always carries a commercial significance for those who create, produce, or distribute it... but I do not approve of or appreciate what is crafted lazily to cater to the ears of those who don’t know how to seek, discover, or understand music. There's a big difference between that and randomly giving out 1s...

No, gentlemen, we do not cover the abominations of vile marketing with a double-talk that praises the supposed "short-sightedness" of this site. The Allsaints are a product designed by marketing experts, ready to exploit MILLIONS of people who are unable to search for, discover, and understand music, and are thus fed by what others decide, with clever moves. Many here, with their strengths and weaknesses, seek talent, passion, anti-commercialism, and many other qualities that we can find in thousands of artists of countless genres and movements… and not four little dolls expertly crafted with a cute voice and a few tunes fed to them to satisfy the average simpleton. I apologize for the brutal honesty.

Since when is an invitation "Why not...?" a command?? Oh right, I forgot that for many, rudeness is the only resource to stand out.

I respect them a lot, for their quality, for their continuity, and for their courage to change. However, I cannot see a rosy future for them...
Edoardo Bennato Così E' Se Vi Pare
Voto:
Bennato, like dozilliards of other Italian singer-songwriters, presents music whose depth is that of a butterfly's wing, and whose innovation is below zero. Many do this, pitifully, and yet the dim-witted Italian people...........

Great review, and that line: "buy it, in the end!" is fun.
